Going:

There were plenty of good vibes surrounding KIMBEAR prior to his Meydan debut a couple of weeks ago and he did not disappoint when winning well over C&D. That was not the strongest of races but this is not much better and a 6lb rise in the ratings is generous given the ease of victory. The four-year-old was a useful performer in the US last year and he could make up into a Godolphin Mile contender in time. Ross finished second in that event last year on World Cup night last year and he is in receipt of weight from the selection. That said, he needed his first run on the dirt last season and the same might happen tonight. Boynton was a Group 2-winning juvenile and things did not go to plan for him last year, given that he missed most of the campaign through injury. The son of More Than Ready showed promise on a couple of occasions late in the year and he should handle the dirt being a half-brother to a Florida Derby/Donn Handicap winner in Constitution. Stunned won over 7f here last year, from his current mark, and he could pick up some minor money this afternoon.
